Packed with honey-coloured stone buildings and charming Georgian streets, the city is undoubtedly one of the UK\u2019s prettiest. Visit during the Bath Christmas market and you\u2019ll find sparkling fairy lights and twinkling chalets selling all sorts of handcrafted goodies.<\/h2>\n<h4>Market highlights<\/h4>\n<p>For us, the real highlight is the atmosphere. In spite of the crowds, visitors wander leisurely, ambling from one stall to another. Products include personalised gifts, Christmas decorations, handcrafted jewellery, hand-painted ceramics and toiletries. With most of the stallholders coming from Bath or the South West, there\u2019s a big focus on supporting small local businesses.\u00a0 Stallholders are justifiably proud of their products.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3149\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3149\" style=\"width: 1400px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3149 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.linguaholidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/IMG_2022-Copy-e1573744112994.jpg\" alt=\"Twinkly stalls at Bath Christmas market\" width=\"1400\" height=\"1050\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3149\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Decorative stalls at Bath Christmas market<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4>What about food?<\/h4>\n<p>Yes, there are plenty of places to find food!\u00a0 Beautifully-wrapped selections of chocolate-coated honeycomb chunks, fudge, liquorice, cheese, sausages, pickles and artisan preserves were amongst our favourite foodie gifts this year. Stalls open at 10 am and close at 6pm (Sundays), 7pm (Monday &#8211; Wednesday) and 8.00pm (Thursdays -Saturdays).<\/p>\n<h4>Getting there<\/h4>\n<p>Travel by train from Paddington.
