Explore some of London’s great architecture and design at the Open House Festival. Visit some of London’s most iconic buildings and unique spaces when the city opens its doors to the public in the autumn.

London’s 30th Open House Festival takes place on 4-5 September 2021. Step into a world normally closed to the public and learn from Open House guides and stewards. In recent years, this popular event has offered free access to over 800 churches, museums, public buildings and private houses.

Past highlights  have included Custom House and the Brutalist Balfron Tower, designed by Erno Goldfinger. Or perhaps you like the idea of dropping into 10 Downing Street?

Typically, a public ballot allocates the most in-demand tickets and you also need to book in advance for around 100+ other venues. Open House London will release details of the 2-day 2021 event in due course.
