English lessons in the heart of London

Learn or improve your English on a personalised course with a qualified, native English teacher. All lessons are one-to-one or run privately for your group and are available at any time during the year.

Once you have chosen your holiday dates, you can choose how many lessons you want and when they take place. We recommend lessons are a minimum 2 hours which leaves you free for the rest of the day to explore London either independently, with your teacher or with a Blue Badge Guide.

General English Courses

Our General English courses are available for everyone, from beginners, through to intermediate and advanced English speakers. Develop your speaking proficiency and pronunciation discussing practical everyday tasks and topics of general interest, or focus on listening, reading and writing skills.

Refresher English Courses

Our Refresher courses are suitable for anyone who has studied English but currently has little opportunity to actively speak. Re-immerse yourself in the English language and enjoy the thrill of once again being able to communicate in a social or work environment.

English Language Courses for Professionals

If you are looking to improve your English for professional reasons, we recommend a more structured and rigorous routine of daily morning lessons. These courses are popular with English teachers overseas and professionals whose work includes regular communication with English-speaking colleagues and clients.

Learn About Modern British Culture

Understanding modern British life and culture is as important as learning the language. Our British Culture course is ideal for English teachers overseas, professionals and the parents of children who are studying or living in the UK.

Topics covered include:

  • An overview of the British education system
  • British humour and manners
  • Social mobility – nature or nurture?
  • Popular culture – music, film and TV British politics and the Royal Family
  • Immigration trends
  • Colloquial language – slang and idioms
