Calling all drama queens …. Kids’ Week is a superb (month-long) London initiative every August that encourages young people to get involved in theatre. It offers free and reduced kids’ theatre tickets across the city throughout the month.

The offer entitles each full-paying adult to qualify for a free kids’ (under 16) ticket. Additionally, there is the option of booking half-price tickets for up to two extra children, at around 30 London shows.

Tickets go on sale in June, bookable directly through Kids Week.

If you want reduced family theatre tickets in London at any other time of year, visit the TKTS booth based in The Clocktower in Leicester Square. On the day deals and half-price bargains for up to 48 hours in advance are available at the ticket booth. However, be aware that you need to buy the tickets in person.

Reduced – or any – tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are unlikely but there’s a good chance of discounts on a variety of musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and several other excellent shows.
