Where to watch Wimbledon
London eventsIf you’re in London but haven’t managed to get tickets, there are still plenty of places to watch. Outdoor screenings have popped up throughout the city so grab a glass of Pimm’s and settle down for some thrill-packed action at one of these outdoor spots.
Granary Square, Kings Cross
Grab a deck chair or a spot on one of the soft ‘grass’ covered steps by Regent’s Canal, with the fountains of Granary Square as a backdrop and a glass of prosecco or beer while you watch.
St. Katharine Docks
Soak up the live action while you relax back in a deck chair or beanbag on a floating pontoon at St Katharine Docks. You can bring your own food and drinks (no alcohol); a bar will be open on the final weekend of Wimbledon. More information St Katharine Docks.
Tower Bridge and the Thames
There are few places in London as iconic as the stretch of the Thames between London and Tower Bridge. Head for the Summer by the River Festival for farmer’s markets, concerts and live coverage from Wimbledon.
New Street Square, St Paul’s
Head for the heart of the City, to New Street Square, and relax back on a deck chair ready for some classic Wimbledon viewing. Screenings run from Monday 1st July to Friday 12th July.
